In the shadow of Midtown Detroit, the historic Belcrest Apartments—built in 1926—once stood as a beacon of opulence and innovation. On Friday, October 18th, the Common Pub at the Belcrest will transform into something far from ordinary for Murder at the Belcrest. Ghouls, werewolves, zombies, and more will crawl out of the shadows to take over the night. Explore three haunted spaces—two chilling indoor settings and an eerie outdoor escape—while dancing with the undead to the beats of multiple DJs. Brace yourself for spine-tingling fire performances, fierce drag acts, and a costume contest with a killer prize. And of course, there will be drink specials brewing all night long.

Get ready for the ultimate Queer Halloween Extravaganza, where everyone is invited to live out their spookiest, most fabulous fantasies. Don't miss the Thriller of the Spooky Season—because at Murder at the Belcrest, the party will be to die for.

Nothing Common About This Brunch

Common Pub joins the Brunch Club! The brunch menu will offer classics you love but slightly elevated with a little twist just the way New Head Chef Gill Knie likes it. Guests can expect items such as the Croque Mister, a take on the classic French Croque Monsieur where Chef Gill uses a generously buttered sourdough baguette, ham, cheddar, Dijon mustard, and smoked cheddar béchamel. It's rich, substantial and the perfect pairing to a boozy brunch we all deserve. The seasonal Brunch menu also includes items like The Foster Waffle, perfect for the sweet tooth bruncher. It's a Belgian waffle with caramelized banana, chantilly cream and foster sauce. If Eggs Benedict are more your style The Barcelona Benny will be right up your alley. Two perfectly poached eggs accompany Spanish chorizo, braised kale, choron sauce on top of cornbread muffin served up with some home fries.  It's a spot you definitely don't want to sleep on. Join Common Pub every Sunday starting September 10th from 1030 to 3 for all your brunch festivities.

With your help, we have packed over 1 MILLION BAGS and counting."

Common Pub is proud to help support this wonderful organization, and we want to thank Crown Royal for letting us be a part of such an amazing project. Starting November 14th through Dec 15th, we will have a donation box setup for all that want to donate. A list is posted of all the items that are needed right outside our door. On Dec 15th we will have a packing party from 7 pm till 9 pm and we would love to have you help us package all the donations up and write some postcards for our troops.
